Description
This is the second version of the welded apple logo, I think I've managed to get the sense of depth varation on the weld this time.
Just for those who are interested, and I'm about to be a complete nerd, the weld itself is based on the tig welding process.
Again all created using gimp.

Basically if I remember correctly, created a path of the shape I wanted, set pencil to use default gradient (Black to White) and selected a circle brush also set jitter to a medium to low value then stroked path. then selected the line created and filled it from black to white from outsides to middle, and played with the layer modes and percentages.
